If you're going to use prime, fixed lenses, you will need at least two camera bodies with the following lenses: a. 24mm b. 35mm c. 50mm d. 85mm For single, head-and-shoulder shots, the 85mm is very useful. For shooting couples, try using either the 50mm or the 35mm. Use the 24mm only in tight places or when you want to photograph everyone dancing at the reception. Once again, try to practice using these lenses with your flash prior to the wedding. 4. As for the obligatory shots, you need to capture the following: 1) Bride in wedding gown holding bridal bouquet. Try emphasizing the sweep of the dress, using half to three-quarter views. 2) Bride with maids of honor; various individual and group shots of the maids. 3) Bride with mother. 4) Groom; various shots, individual and group, of groom with the ushers. 5) Wedding cake. 6) Church alter. 7) Church interior with wedding guests seated in pews. 8) Church exterior. 1) Bride walking down the isle with her father. This shot should be full-length and should show some of the pews and the wedding guests. 2) Bride, groom, maids, ushers, and minister at the alter. Make sure you get shots of the groom putting the ring on the bride's hand and the groom kissing the bride. 3) Bride and groom wallking down the isle together after the ceremony is finished. 4) Family portaits. These will include phtotographs of the bride and groom with the maids and ushers; bride and groom with various family members; bride and groom alone. All of these shots should be done on or very near the alter -- where the ceremony took place. Let the bride or groom direct you as to which portrait combinations they want. It might be a good idea to discuss these combinations with the bride and groom before the wedding. 5) Bride and groom getting into the car to head to the reception.
bridal bouquet pictures : 1) Bride and groom receiving guests while standing in the "receiving line." 2) Wedding toast. 3) Cutting the wedding cake. 4) Bride and groom dancing the wedding waltz. 5) Parents of the bride and groom dancing the wedding waltz. 6) Bride throwing the wedding bouquet. 7) Groom removing the wedding garder from the bride's leg. 8) Groom throwing the wedding garder. 9) Numerous candid shots of the wedding guests. Before the wedding, get an idea who the bride and groom want you to photograph. Use lots of film and a motor drive if you have one. 10) Bride and groom getting into their car to head off on their honeymoon. Try to capture the wedding guests throwing rice on the bride and groom as they make their way to the car. Also get a photo of the car if it has been decorated. After the wedding, get your film developed at a custom lab with the bestreputation for quality. Cost should not be a factor. Also have the labproduce a contact sheet of your negatives for the bride and groom to viewand select the images they want.
bridal bouquet pictures : Well, I am a very sentimental person, but I did not have a bouquet preserved. Ithought about it, but I felt it was too much money to spend on something sotrivial as that. It just took me too long to decide, then it was too late. Mymom hung my flowers upside down in the closet, and I still have the driedflowers. I don't know what I will do with them (it's been two years). Thereare many other things to do with them. You can have your bouquet recreated insilk. You can use the flowers for potpourri inside a pillow. You can pressthem and have them sealed in glass or soemthing like that. All these arecheaper alternatives. It was just going to cost so much, and I didn't even knowwhat to do with them. I still haven't decided what I will do with my weddingdress. It is still hanging in the closet. To preserve or not to preserve? Tosell or to keep? These are hard decisions, but think about whether you willreally care five years from now. Will you still have your wedding photos andmemorabilia out then? It's been two years, and our pictures are still out, butthey are sitting on our bookshelf. I wouldn't preserve the flowers, speakingfrom experience.

Everything else thus far in the wedding has been VERY traditional(the whole white dress, blusher, attendants in blush, dinner/dancereception). I am a traditional gal. My mother had white and red roses inhers, his mother had some kind of white flowers with greenery. I had alwaysimagined a big white bouquet but now I am kind of faltering....The BM's willhave pink and peach roses in a round bouquet. Help! Some pros and cons ofadding color?Different cultures have different traditions so you don't have to worry aboutthe pure white bouquet. In some cultures white flowers signify death aren'taren't to be used at all. I've found that 50% of my clients go with an all whitebouquet or with creams and whites, 45% go with pastels or muted tones and 5% goall out for colour. Mixed creams and whites add depth to a bouquet and greeneryprovides a background so that it will stand out against a dress. Mostly whitewith some pink and peach to co-ordinate with the bride's maids would be nice.Your best bet would be to go and look at pictures of bouquets and see whatappeals to you and then make the decision.
