Just lots of black and white pictures of you and Yoko.Angel-food cake I believe has an excellent shelf-life. Why didn't John and Yoko just shove a 3" x 5" slice into their album? Cheap, or what?At least Paul and Heather arent afraid to shell out money for their fans.The "Wedding Album" I bought also included sliced turkey, gravy, and mashed potatoes, which is what all the folks at the wedding reception had. It sure beats Swanson's frozen dinners, and it was a nice touch.I have yet to hear Paul and Heather's Wedding Album, but I am quite sure it's got to be good, if the food they gave me is any indication.

wedding album : I have a copy of this that is in excellent condition with allinserts,etc. What is this worth?Thanks! The value has dropped drastically. People ask me why it is valued so high inthe price guides. The price guides are not up to date on the history of thisitem. The box sets pressed in a rather high supply, only made a dent in sales.Right around 1979 there was a discovery made in a Capitol distributionwarehouse in central Illinios. Lo and behold, they found nearly 25,000 sealedcopies in still like new condition. No damage, no nothing. They were sent outto some private distributors, who issued them back into circulation in musicstores (in limited quantities). The price for them was increased to $19.99because of inflation. (bah!) They originally sold for around $9.99.Well they still didn't sell them all. Not to mention many were sent back andput back into the warehouse. Around 1985 or 86, a New York based distributorbought all the remaining unsold copies and had been selling them off to whoever would but them. Another lennon album "Live Peace In Toronto" has a very simular history and2nd pressings with calendar, can be bought for $20.00 (sealed!) So how much is a NM boxed set of the wedding album worth? Forget what theprice guides says ($125 to $150). This set is worth about $40 tops. And iffound sealed, perhaps $50 to $60. Its still an obscure item, just not in thatbig of demand because so many sealed copies still exist.
wedding album : PS. I have one sealed and one I opened. Nothing great about this item, exceptfor trivial inserts. The album is rather boring (all interviews, etc..)Are you sure of this? I've seen a lot of the "warehouse find" sealedWedding Album "8-Track" boxes(full 12"x12" box with all inserts only it's an8-track instead of an LP), but I haven't seen ANY sealed Wedding Album "LP"boxes or the values you state. The last Beatlefest catalog I got still hadsome of the 8-Track boxes for about $50.If you are sure that these are LPs please let me know where you've seenthem. I've been looking for a sealed LP box for years...at a reasonableprice. Hi Jeff, Although I would love to say I am 100% certain of the info I gave, I don'tknow the whole scoop tothe story. I do know that it is true of the warehouse find, since there was aprinted distributors list sent to me way back around 1991 asking if I wanted topurchase some of them wholesale. They also had the 8 track boxed sets, as youhave mentioned. I never would buy those things. At record shows, dealerscan'thave a hard time getting even $30. As for where one might be able to find the album sealed. I haven't a clueright now. My distributor is out and hasn't had them since the early 90s. Ithought I seen QVC or some home shopping network offer a few of these as"Limited Edition" originals. Well they were not exactly offered that wayoriginally, but thats QVC for ya. :)
