Find the ones you like.Sadly, I've looked in two salons like I said, and they didn't have anypictures of hairstyles for women with truly long hair, only forshort/medium hair. I've looked at every major bridal mag, and it seemsthat they are oriented in the same way! The "up" styles that I do see inthose magazines, I'm told my hair is too long for those. The few picturesof women with long hair I see are generally those with their hair totallyloose and down. I'm looking for a half up, half down kind of style (if Iput ALL my hair on my head, I don't think I could move my head!). Just thefact that I can't find anything is making me nervous. I may just try toschedule a day to cut school (argh) and go to a salon, have my hair doneseveral times, and take photos.

wedding hairstyles : I out half my hair up in a pearly clip on our wedding day and about a week before hand got my mum to put a home perm in it (my hair's too fine to just curl, and I was amazed that the curls stayed in for over a week. Going to a hairdressers to sort it out was not an option as I also have long hair and they always try and cut far too mcuh of it off ).What I did was simple but did look really nice on the dayMy sister just had her hair done at Pierre & Carlo's in Philly for her weddingand it was half up and half down like you said. Just go in and ask for Michael(he just got mentioned as "best of Philly" for his wedding do's)He did my sister's hair and it was absolutely beautiful!!!! wedding hairstyles : I have long naturally curly hair, and I am the maid of honour for mylovely sister Katherine. Anyways, I have been looking and looking forhairstyles for long naturally curly hair, (not long salon-curled hair) that would be suitable for her wedding, which is only weeks away. If anyone can help me with some links to websites that would havesomething like this I would greatly appreciate it. I have done quite abit of looking, but to no avail. I have long, naturally curly hair as well--when I get married I will wear itmostly down, with the top level pulled back loosely into a braid withflowers/ribbons/beadwork (whatever looks right) woven into the braid. I'llpull a few single curls out around my face. My "veil" will be a very lightsilk draped hood attached to a cloak/train. Silk doesn't frizz me up the waytulle or poly would.For me, it's the styling products that are critical--If I use the wrongones, it's a frizzy, fuzzy mess. If I use the right ones, it curlsbeautifully all over. My styling set is:Any detangling conditioner *first*... I comb my hair out with a detanglerBEFORE I wash it or it won't get clean.Jason Amino Keratin ShampooJason Amino Keratin Conditioner--I use a very little but leave it in.

Then I lean over and blow the roots at my crown dryfor just a moment or two (so the weight of my hair doesn't pull that partflat), then let the rest drip dry naturally.If I want a smooth braid, I braid it wet. If I want a full braid with straycurls, I braid it when it's dry. For my wedding I will not braid it until itis completely dry.If it gets a little frizzy after it is dry, Frizz Ease "secret weapon" creamhelps.Curly hair works well in updos... if you want it sleek, use the hair serumand put it up wet. If you want to take advantage of your curl, let it dryall the way, then put it up, letting a few curls escape. You can use alittle water on your fingers to "unite" a curl which has separated and gonefrizzy.Cut can help--I have a little layering on my hair so the top layer isshorter--this allows for more volume of curl, but the layers can't be cutthe same way layers are cut in straight hair, they're more "by the curl"than at specific levels.
