I love it when you pick on me, Rick - it gives mecold chills! What else can I post to draw your fire?FYI, this FAQ has been posted about 10 times over the last year. It isa compilation of information from about 30 different photographers, allof whom had a hand in writing it. I only compiled and organized it. Infact, very little of this FAQ is my wording. Should you doubt my wordas you frequently do, I'd be more than happy to post the entire stringof "creation" messages (about 120 in all) for you to review.

You stated that theassociations that you belong to require that anything being submitted forprint competition be done for a client. You advertise on your website thePPA logo. The PPA has no such requirement for print competition.

However, I doubt that Karen ever made such comments. I wish that prints for competition had to be prints created forcustomers. It would seperate the men from the boys. Some of the "winning"prints seem rather backwards when compared to what is being done in theoverall photography world. What's even funnier is that a print that winsthis year will be copied by half the photographers who enter next year.Many of the organized competitions seem to breed (or in-breed as the casemay be) mediocrity. And some of the organizations don't seem to have any standards forofficers, that's for sure.I for one find your wedding photography FAQ to be very helpful and wouldlike to thank you for your time and effort in making this compilation.There is so much crap on these news groups, it is refreshing to see thatthere are still people around willing to help. If nothing else it makespeople realise the importance of photographing a wedding as well asproviding tips on how to do it successfully.Karen, this type of behavior is all to common in this group. Perhapsit's inspired by the man who would be king :)
