Two perbox, the box was gold and the ribben around it was maroon, our weddingcolor and on top was a small(fake) rose the color of my roses (white). After dinner my husband, myself and the flower girl passed them out. Itwas a good way to make sure we had a chance to speak with everyone, andpeople loved them. wedding stationary : I ordered mine from the Willow Tree catolog. They were little tuxedojackets and we had our names and date put on in silver. They were verycute and not expensive at all.I have also seen boxes at party supply stores, stationery stores andlarge craft stores (i.e. Michael's).You might want to try an office supply store. My BIL works for Arvey Paper (I'm pretty sure they are a franchise chain) and they sell all different size boxes pretty inexpensively. I am getting some favor boxes from Rexcraft. The ones I am using are 3 1/2" x 21/4" x 2 1/4" and have a heart-shaped "handle". They sell them in fifties (andyou *have* to order in multiples of 50 - I tried to get the second lot in asmaller # - no luck) for $19.95 for the 1st 50, 18.50 each add'l 50 if you getthem personalized. Blank they are 13.50 / 50. They only come in white but thepersonalizing includes your choice of emblem (and they have a lot of choices) andnames/date in foil. They have 15 different foil colors to choose from. They havesome other styles to including plain square boxes (like cake boxes) that you canpersonalize (same deal) and some that are a less box-y shape and have embosseddoves on them. I *think* these ones are less than the ones with the heart handleand come in a large and small size.
wedding stationary : Help! I am up to my waist in wedding invitation catalogs! The invitation we want is carried by about 8 catalogs and I'm having a hard time deciding which company to use. Somecompanies have lower prices, but they also seem to have less comprehensive guarantees than the higher priced companies. I'm wondering if ordering from the lowest pricecompany might find me regretting it in the future.I would like to hear from anyone who has recently gotten their invitations from a mail order company. I'm especially interested in folks who have had (1) prices matched from other catalogs (2) used the 100% guarantee offered by some companies.Please post your responses. I'm sure there are othersinterested in your experiences, tooI used Jamie Lee. I was quite happy with their service, price, andproduct, and I had only one problem. The invitations did not arrive whenI expected them, but it turned out that this was because Federal Expresshad decided that my house did not exist! I called Jamie Lee to find outwhy I had not received my invitations and they put me on hold while theycalled FedEx on the other line. Jamie Lee was extremely helpful andcourteous (and apologetic for something that was their vendor's fault).We will be ordering our invitations for our second reception from themas well.
